How to make six pack abs and how I did six pack workout. Complete strangers have asked how I ‘maintain’ my body, and I thought it was worth sharing in case everyone can benefit. So I finally decided to share my fitness secrets with you all!

I’ve always been naturally skinny, but overtime at my desk in the office (ah, the perks of being an entrepreneur) and all the junk food I’ve consumed in my adult life have made my belly fat. , Started showing. This flap, isn’t a huge confidence booster, and it’s what I had to work with. So I worked hard on my body and it paid off!
I do six-pack workouts at home and run on nice tree-lined streets near parks. I’m not a gym person these days. So it also means that there is no instructor. But the positive side is that I exercise whenever I want and enjoy it!
I’d be lying if I said it was easy. But the truth to remember is that you can too.

It has been a decision and goal setting week. I decided to do a fitness shoot for my next photoshoot. It would look silly to pose in a sports bra if you have a layer of body fat! I started cutting down on my excess carb intake by cutting down on junk food and started doing basic cardio. I ran 5 km thrice a week and did lower plank for 6 minutes. If you’re running for the first time, you may experience cramping, so stay hydrated and don’t rest. If you are a beginner, start with a 3 km run in the first week and gradually increase to 5 km if possible.
After the cramps subsided, I felt a little better than before. But I’m sure there’s been a time or two this week where you’ve cheated because you’re fed up with food and you can’t resist the urge to have a Coke or cheesy pasta. I continued running 5km three times a week, followed by planks. I also added sets of 20 crunches and 20 leg raises to this workout. One morning I also tried this new HIIT core workout routine. That means one set of 20 push-ups, 20 burpees, 20 squats, and 20 seconds of plank. I got cramps the whole 3 days with this 1 set. Alas!
Frustrated with my lack of noticeable results in week 2, I gave up processed foods and cut down on unhealthy sugar. My diet has reduced to home cooked Indian food. Bean sprouts or legumes for breakfast with a milky latte. Snack time consists of a strawberry shake, watermelon or melon. My belly fat hadn’t melted yet, so I started to wonder what I was doing wrong. It was sad at times. I increased my workouts to 4 times a week.
I was fed up with the food again, but I spiced up the meal by offering some of my favorites, such as oven-roasted vegetables and stuffed tomatoes with rice balls. I further reduced my carb intake by eating less roti/rice, more pulses and vegetables and cut out processed foods completely. I also added more protein. I alternated between Rajma and Bean Sprouts for breakfast and curd for evening snack. I did 5 six pack exercises this week. But now I reduce my cardio to 3km and do one set of HIIT core workout routine (20 push-ups, 20 burpees, 20 squats, 20 seconds planks, 20 crunches, 20 leg raises). Weight training was also introduced. This is a 25 minute standing abs dumbbell workout. Within 2 days, I also added a lay-down abs dumbbell workout and topped that off with a 2-minute clean-up session. Here it is:

To finally be able to see some profit was insane and also really motivating. Abs are finally starting to show under the layer of fat! Yes!! I continued my weight training and increased my workouts on all 7 days this week. It was killing me because I had constant cramps or pain somewhere, but now I couldn’t stop! Plus, it was hard to resist fried food. It helps encourage families now. Plus, long workout sessions occupied my time the entire evening after work, leaving little time for anything else. Although sleeping turned out to be really easy. At this point, I never thought that one day I would be writing an article on how to get six pack abs!
At the beginning of this week I was getting used to constant pain in every other organ or joint, but my body was not making any more progress! I knew it was the final week of my workout challenge, so it was easy to resist my favorite junk food. However, I didn’t want to waste my effort on something unhealthy anyway. I did six pack workouts this week for 6 days. Exercise is now a part of my daily routine and I don’t need to motivate myself anymore. In fact, they made me feel confident and happy. I continued with the same routine, but with more energy, jumping, etc., trying to melt away the remaining layer of fat.
The shoot day arrived, but I’m not a morning person, so I wake up tired. But on this day I woke up happy, energetic and positive. And I knew I would be very tired after filming, so I exercised in the morning. Imagine I have to resist the urge to eat unhealthy food. Now I just can’t live without starting my day with a healthy meal! Not only that, but I also became stronger. The filming went great. I was confident and felt great about my body.
Now you know how to build six pack abs, but how do you keep them? Maintaining a great body is just as difficult as achieving it. People who watch you may not notice the amount of effort put into it, and may think it’s all natural. Or you don’t eat anything! The only simple thing is that once you get healthy, you don’t want to go back to your unhealthy days. I know it’s still hard to motivate myself to do a toning workout or resist junk food, but I try!
